59 Countries, One Purpose: A Lifetime of Advocacy Across the Globe
Someone asked me recently to list all the countries I’ve ever fundraised or advocated for. I didn’t have a quick answer. But when I finally sat down to reflect… the result surprised even me.
59 countries.
Each with a story. A need. A cause. A connection.
Here’s what I remembered — and why it matters.
Every country on this list represents something unique. A cause. A story. A need. A connection.
Canada — advocating for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women & Girls
Honduras — where I once sponsored a young boy and his family to help create a better future
Kenya — where pregnant women walked up to two hours just to fetch dirty river water
Uganda & South Sudan — where a friend of mine grew up in a refugee camp, fleeing child soldier recruitment
Ukraine — where my roots are, and where freedom, peace, and survival are still being fought for
But this is what advocacy looks like when it’s built over a lifetime.
It’s not always loud. It’s not always perfect.
But it’s always rooted in love, in humanity, and in the belief that every country, every person, deserves dignity.

(If I missed your country, I truly apologize — every story matters.)
Each of these countries holds a memory, a mission, or a moment that shaped the way I advocate today. This list isn’t about numbers — it’s about people. It’s about the global threads of humanity that connect us, challenge us, and call us to do better. Whether through a single fundraiser, a bold campaign, or a quiet act of solidarity, every effort matters. And I’ll keep showing up — one story, one cause, one country at a time.
